Unlikely Friends

Today, during a nice brisk autumn walk through the pristine trail by our home, wide-eyed Silver came upon an adorable little field mouse. While a bit standoffish at first, the two quickly became best friends, playing and romping together in the tall grass until the time came for the two to go their own way. But not before these unlikely pals promised to meet again to enjoy another fun-filled day together. I’m kidding. He ate it.
